THE COURSE : With 1,884 meters of climbing over 135-km, the GFNY Peru long route is a test of your legs, lungs and your willpower. The race starts at Cusco Plaza de Armas. The first challenge of the day begins 7-km climb up to Saqsaywaman. After descending on the other side, you’ll climb 4-km up all the way and then descending to the Sacred Valley of Los Incas, through Pisaq and Pikillaqta and back. After 106-km, you will face the final challenge of the day: the climb back to Saqsaywaman and your finish line celebration.

LONG COURSE IS A COMPETITION: Only the finishers of the 135km long course are eligible for category rankings and Overall and Podium awards. If you want to race and be ranked in your category, you must complete the long course. Top 20% of finishers in each age groups qualify for the Racer Corral at every GFNY World event.

The first challenge of the day begins 7-km climb up to Saqsaywaman. After descending on the other side, you’ll climb 4-km up all the way and then descending to the Sacred Valley of Los Incas, through Pisaq. After 40-km, you will face the final challenge of the day: the climb back to Saqsaywaman and your finish line celebration

MEDIUM COURSE IS NOT A COMPETITION: The riders of the 70km medium course will be provided their start-to-finish time, but will not be ranked by finish time. All finish times will be listed in alphabetical order.
